"Empowering survivors to reclaim their strength and transform their lives through trauma-informed care, personalized support, and therapeutic guidance."

Our Founder, Dr. Patrice Patton-Campbell, LPC, NCC, CTP

Welcome to Safe Harbor Healing, a space founded by Dr. Patrice Patton-Campbell, dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed support and empowerment for survivors. Dr. Patton-Campbell is committed to cultivating a safe, virtual community where individuals can access the resources, connection, and care they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

Dr. Patrice Patton-Campbell is a Community Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Trauma Professional. She founded Safe Harbor Healing to provide compassionate, trauma-informed support and empowerment for survivors of human trafficking, childhood sexual abuse, and complex trauma, a space where healing integrates mind, body, and spirit.

Her dissertation, "Bridging the Gap: Exploring the Intersection of Formal Mental Health Services and Informal Social Supports in BIPOC Communities", examines the critical role of community-based support systems in enhancing mental health outcomes for marginalized populations. This research underscores her commitment to integrating formal therapeutic practices with the strength and resilience found within communities.

Grounded in liberation psychology, social justice, and a spirit-centered approach, Dr. Patton-Campbell bridges evidence-based therapy such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing with community-based, culturally responsive healing strategies. She draws on over a decade of experience supporting BIPOC populations and marginalized communities, combining clinical expertise with spiritual insight to foster holistic resilience.

Her work also focuses on the abolition of modern-day slavery, advocating for survivor-centered care and systemic change. At Safe Harbor Healing, Dr. Patton-Campbell’s mission is to cultivate safe, empowering spaces where individuals are seen, heard, and supported as they reclaim their lives, reconnect with their inner strength, and build lasting resilience.

About
Services

Healing Circles provide a safe, virtual space for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking to gather, share, and support one another.

These monthly support groups are facilitated by me, offering participants the opportunity to connect with others, explore strategies for healing, and access emotional and spiritual support in a trauma-informed environment.

"Creating a Safe, Compassionate, and Accessible Online Space."

For those seeking focused support, Patrice offers limited one-on-one and family consultations. These sessions integrate trauma-informed and heart-centered approaches, drawing on strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to guide clients toward personal growth and healing.

Support Groups and Workshops offer a nurturing community where survivors can connect, share experiences, and find strength in solidarity. Participants gain access to a safe, trauma-informed space for healing, reflection, and personal growth.

Our communal resources are designed to empower individuals and organizations alike. Access a variety of tools, materials, and support to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Together, we can create meaningful impact.

We provide compassionate, trauma-informed consultation services to support survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking, as well as the professionals and caregivers who support them.

Focusing on psychoeducation, emotional resilience, and trauma-sensitive practices, these consultations offer personalized guidance tailored to each survivor’s unique healing journey.
